[] 1 Cor 10:13 humas [] 1 Cor 14:37-38 I have been discussing the variant reading in 1 Cor 14:38 (AGNOEITAI vs.AGNOEITW) on another forum, butwanted some feedback from this community. It seems to me the latter (therejected infinitive) makes much moresense than what NA27 has, especially given the string of imperatives in thelast part of ch. 14, and the apparent chiasticstructure of 34-38. Also, 1 Cor 14:37-38 strikes as an inclusio with 1 Cor12:1, especially with the use ofPNEUMATIKOS and AGNOEW in both places, so that vv. 37-38 do not only referto Paul’s teaching in chapter 14,but to his whole treatise on love and spiritual gifts in those threechapters. Well, again, if you look at the Greek, Paul is pretty explicit what he talks about THOUGH his sentences in the Greek do run long and deep Was there one or few specific ones you had a question about?
