Koine and Biblical and Medieval Greek • Re: What is a βᾶρις?

Strabo, Geography 11.13.4
βασίλειον δ᾽ αὐτῶν θερινὸν μὲν ἐν πεδίῳ ἱδρυμένον Γάζακα, χειμερινὸν δὲ ἐν φρουρίῳ ἐρυμνῷ Ὀυέρα
"The royal summer palace is situated in a plain at Gazaca and their winter palace in a fortress called Vera"
In this translation of Strabo the two instances of palace are of two difference Greek words, the first is a βασίλειον and
the other a φρούριον and then there is Ὀυέρα?

βασίλειον kingly dwelling, palace, seat of empire, royal treasury.
φρούριον fort, citadel, esp. hill-fort, as distd. from a fortified town
ἐρυμνός fenced, fortified, strong
θερινός of summer
χειμερινὸς of winter
Xenophon, Cyropedia 8.6.22
Cyrus himself made his home in the centre of his domain, and in the winter season he spent seven months in Babylon, for there the climate is warm; in the spring he spent three months in Susa, and in the height of summer two months in Ecbatana. By so doing, they say, he enjoyed the warmth and coolness of perpetual spring-time.

Xenophon, Anabasis 3.5.15
Ecbatana, where the King is said to spend his summers

Ἐκβάτανα φέροι, ἔνθα θερίζειν λέγεται βασιλεύς,
Strabo maybe referencing Xenophon, but Gazaca (Γάζακα) is in Ἀτροπατηνή (Media Atropatene) and Γάζακα is similar to the word γάζα "treasure" that appears in Ezra 6:1, this verse is in Aramaic and the word is written גנז "Γάναζ" (Ganaz)?

Ezra 5:12 ἐν οἴκῳ τῆς γάζης τοῦ βασιλέως Βαβυλῶνος "In the house of treasure of the King of Babylon"
Ezra 6:1 ἡ γάζα κεῖται ἐν Βαβυλῶνι "The treasure were laid in Babylon"
Ezra 6:2 εὑρέθη ἐν πόλει ἐν τῇ βάρει τῆς Μήδων πόλεως "He found in the city in the Baris?? of Media-City

I just do not understand that in Ezra 6:1 there was a search in Babylon then there is an unexplained change of geographical context in Ezra 6:2 unless the translation of the text is wrong? Is Babylon in Media?

Xenophon puts the θερινός in Babylon and so in Strabo the βασίλειον θερινός is in Γάζακα??
